Dark Treasures:
“And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.” (Isaiah 45:3)
Sometimes it helps to think of this life as a giant game of Hide-and-Seek. I talk about this idea in my new book, and when you think about it, it really does make a lot of sense. We didn’t come here to have this human experience unprepared although it does feel like it every now and then. Everything we need to live a fulfilling life is here in this realm, we simply must find it.
“Seek and ye shall find.” (Matthew 7:7)
Thank God for this promise, it contains the instructions for the game. Whether we like it or not, the things we desire are not handed to us on a silver platter; we must seek them out, and the good news is, we have this verse that promises us that we will find them. It’s a simple game with simple rules, and it’s designed to help us grow and complete ourselves.
If we arrived here and everything we desire was instantly given to us what would be the point? What would be the satisfaction in that? We knew this, we are the ones who designed the game, and we scattered and hid the things we are seeking.
The game is designed in such a way that we must go inward, for this is where the treasure map is. The more we seek the more we find, and the more we find, the more we awaken, which ultimately leads to us being revealed as the I AM.
Through meditation you will find the map. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy, sitting quietly with the lights turned down will give you access.
“God chose the simple things of the world to confound the wise.” (1st Corinthians 1:27)
Happy hunting!
