In the midst:

“For where two or more are gathered together in my name, there I AM in the midst of them.” (Matthew 18:20)

and…

“Let us not neglect the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another, and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:25)

These scriptures highlight one of the greatest paradoxes of our time, and that is, the more of us who gather together, the closer we are to oneness.

The many make up the one.

This is such an important spiritual principal to be conscious of, because the world in which we live today tends to accentuate isolation.

We can order anything we want online without any human interaction. Businesses praise themselves for having “contactless” payment options. Mental health therapy and counseling is now predominately performed in a virtual space. Movies are watched at home rather than going out to a theater. Church services are streamed online. Meetings are held via Zoom. School can be attended virtually.

And the list goes on and on…

In my latest book “Reality Is Negotiable” I talk a lot about how we are God, each of us being an individual expression of the divine, and with this is mind, doesn’t it just make sense that when more of us gather together in person, that there would simply be more of God?

Of course it does.

More of us = more of God.

More of God = more healing, more abundance, more love, more power, more peace of mind, more creativity, more wisdom etc…

So, let’s not “neglect the assembling of ourselves together.”

What if what we’re searching for is found in the midst of others?

Give it a shot today. Go to the store and initiate a conversation with a person working there, go for a walk and talk to your neighbor who is checking the mail as you walk by, instead of waiting in your car for your kid to get out of school, walk inside the building and shake someone’s hand.

Go to a spiritual event in person, try a group meditation. It’s okay, I promise.

Divine connection.

The I AM is in the midst of US.

In love and light,

-J
