“Our” prayer:

“I and the Father are one” (John 10:30)

In other words, our higher self and lower self are one. This life, as we are living it, is simply our higher self having a temporary lower experience here on earth. This is why prayer is necessary, it is the channel by which divine guidance travels from the higher to the lower.

If we truly understand this, here’s how we pray as one: “Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be our name. Our kingdom come, our will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Do not let us be lead into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For ours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.

Jesus is called the “bread of life” in scripture, and he is defined as the “wisdom and power of God” in 1st Corinthians 1:24. So when we pray, “give us this day our daily bread” we are praying for daily wisdom and power from our higher self.

This is how we overcome.

In love and light,

-J
