Do you recognize you?

“He came into the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him (did not know Him). He came to that which belonged to Him {to His own, His domain, creation, things, world} and they who were His own did not receive Him and did not welcome Him.” (John 1:10-11 AMP)

This is exactly what is going on in the world today. We simply don’t recognize who we truly are.

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8)

He wasn’t recognized then, and He’s not recognized now. It’s a strange thing, a divine paradox in which we as God don’t comprehend our own reflection. We are divine, spiritual, infinite beings attending a giant, temporary costume party, and the costumes are so good, we get lost in the character, and can’t remember who we are.

Imagine a world where we do recognize who we are, and we recognize who everyone else is; imagine the love and support we would have toward one another.

When we awaken to our true divine self then the golden rule becomes emphatically real. “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, because the ‘others’ are you.”

“In Him we live and move and have our being.” (Acts 17:28)

We are God through and through, and we’re all in this together.

Take heart, the amnesia is starting to wear off.

In love and light,

-J
