Look To Yourselves:
“For many imposters (seducers, deceivers, and false leaders) have gone out into the world, men who will not acknowledge (confess, admit) the coming of Jesus Christ (the Messiah) in bodily form. Such a one is the imposter (the seducer, the deceiver, the false leader, the antagonist of Christ) and the antichrist. Look to yourselves…” (2nd John:7-8 AMP)
2nd John is a tiny little book in the New Testament, but it’s message is big! It’s addressing people who refuse to accept that Jesus Christ is humanity itself. These people teach that Jesus is something separate from you, a secular deity that resides somewhere else. They simply can’t acknowledge the fact that we are the I AM.
This letter was written to the “elect chosen lady Cyria and her children” whom had apparently reached out to John because the church in the area was preaching this dualistic idea of God. John, in all his brilliance responds to her with one simple yet powerful statement. “Look to yourselves.”
In other words, regardless of what anyone else is teaching, if you want to know who Jesus Christ truly is, look to yourselves.
Timeless.
In love and light,
