Thank you Neville Goddard!

An assumption, though false, if persisted in, will harden into fact.” -Neville Goddard

“I am able to do nothing from Myself independently, of My own accord, but only as I am taught by God and as I get His orders. Even as I hear, I judge [I decide as I am bidden to decide. As the voice comes to Me, so I give a decision.], and My judgement is right (just, righteous), because I do not seek or consult My own will [I have no desire to do what is pleasing to Myself, My own aim, My own purpose] but only the will and pleasure of the Father Who sent me.” (John 5:30 AMP)

There is nothing but God in this world, He/She/You is playing all the parts; and the above verse is specifically speaking about the two parts of the mind, conscious and subconscious.

The subconscious and conscious mind are in holy matrimony. The subconscious is so in love with the conscious, that it submits to every single belief that is impressed upon it. It has no desire or will of its own, it simply takes what the conscious mind believes to be true and creates a reality to match those beliefs. It only listens to you, and has no opinion of whether something is right or wrong, real or unreal, its only aim is to serve and to please. Unconditional love.

The subconscious mind does not know the difference between a real event or an imagined one, a true event or a false one. If something is believed to be true by you, the subconscious takes that as an order and the manifestation process begins. This is why imagination is so important. When you imagine something to the point of believing it to be true (rather it is or not) and you can feel the appropriate emotion of it, the subconscious receives it (becomes impregnated) and the gestation period gets underway.

This is how all of reality works, and why you can be “transformed by the renewing of your mind.” (Romans 12;2)

So, with all that being said, I want to express my sincere, heartfelt gratitude to the late great Christian Mystic and New Thought Pioneer, Neville Goddard, for reminding us all that “An assumption, though false, if persisted in, will harden into fact.”
