The Fusion of Jesus & Mary:
“I wanna hold the hand inside you
I wanna take the breath that’s true
I look to you and I see nothing
I look to you to see the truth
Fade into you
Strange you never knew
Fade into you
I think it’s strange you never knew.” (Mazzy Star)
{Fusion: “The process or result of joining two or more things together to form a single entity.” (Oxford Dictionary)}
“On the 3rd day there was a wedding at Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. Jesus also was invited with His disciples to the wedding. And when the wine was all gone, the mother of Jesus said to Him, They have no more wine! Jesus said to her, [Dear] woman, what is that to you and to me? [What do we have in common? Leave it to me.] My time (hour to act) has not yet come. His mother said to the servants, Whatever He says to you, do it.” (John 2:1-5 AMP)
This is an amazing little story that reveals the divine mystery of our lives. At first, Mary panicked and exclaimed “They have no more wine!!!!” and Jesus, in his typical nonchalant manner says “So what? What does it matter?” and then He cuts straight to the chase by asking “What do we have in common?” This triggers a moment of divine personal revelation for Mary and she realizes that they (her and Jesus) are one and the same; her panic immediately disappears, and she boldly says “Do whatever He tells you to do.”
As the story goes, they fill up several water pots with water and they all magically turn into the best wine anyone has ever tasted; so much so, that the manager of the wedding proclaims “Most people serve the best wine first, and then when everyone is drunk, they bring out the cheap stuff, but you have saved the best for last!” (John 2:9-10 paraphrased)
Once we have drank all the cheap stuff the world has to offer (man-made religious beliefs, church doctrine etc..), and once we realize who we really are (fusing with the I AM, the two becoming one), nothing is impossible for us and we begin to create our reality with confidence, turning our ordinary mundane life into fine wine!
and…
“The latter part of our life shall be more blessed than the first” (Job 42:12)
