The walls will crumble:

We’re probably all familiar with the mainstream church taught story of Joshua and the city of Jericho; you know, Joshua and his men walk around the city seven days in a row and on the seventh day the walls crumble and they kill everyone in the city except for a harlot named Rahab and her family, they take all the valuables and move on.

This is a pretty gnarly story if taken at mainstream face value, a story of which by the way, has no historical validity whatsoever; and that’s a good thing, because the Bible was never intended to be interpreted this way. The Bible is not literal history, it is a psychological book containing within its pages the mental unfolding of our shared reality.

The story of Joshua and Jericho is a blueprint for manifesting the reality you desire to live in.

There are four main characters in this story. Joshua, the city of Jericho, the walls surrounding the city, and a harlot/spy named Rahab.

You are Joshua, the city of Jericho is your desired state of being, the walls surrounding the city are the obstacles in your way, and Rahab is your own wonderful human imagination.

Following this blueprint, you are Joshua, you have a desired state of being (Jericho), but you have no idea how to reach that state of being because all of the obstacles (walls) surrounding it. You use your imagination to bypass the walls and occupy that state you desire in consciousness. Imagine yourself in your desired state, do this until you can feel the reality of it, this is the feeling of the wish fulfilled that Neville always talked about. How would you feel if you had already manifested your desire? Relief? Peace? Satisfaction? A sense of accomplishment? Do this each day, (this is walking around the city walls) drop into the feeling of already having your desire, do this as often as you want, and when you feel that sense of satisfaction or reality of the thing you desire, drop it. Let it go, and let it be.

Consciousness knows no limits, and there are no obstacles in the way of imagination. You can go anywhere in consciousness at any time. Mentally stand in your desire, plant your feet there in imagination and feel it.

“I will give you every place where you set your foot…” (Joshua 1:3)

Take time to do this each and every day, knowing each time you do you are walking around the city walls, and in time, those walls will crumble and you will see your desire manifest.

When Joshua blew the trumpet on the 7th day, the walls crumbled to the ground and he took possession of the city. The trumpet symbolizes praise and gratitude.

Be thankful, nothing is impossible for you.

In love and light,

-J
