Welcome to you:

We’ve talked about the story of the Prodigal Son on here recently, and this morning we’re going to return to this story because it has recently been revealed to me that this is, beyond a shadow of a doubt, is the story of us, all of us.

The Prodigal Son parable is found in Luke 15:11-32, and you probably know the story, but it would be a good idea to re-read it now, so it will be fresh on your mind as we get into this.

Here it is in a nutshell: A wealthy son leaves his father’s estate with his inheritance in hand, he squanders all his wealth on wine, women and song, and finds himself destitute, working on a farm for minimum wage and sleeping with the pigs in the farmer’s barn. He wakes up one morning, has a change of heart, and decides to head back home to his father’s house. His father sees him coming, welcomes him with open arms and throws a huge party for him to celebrate his return. He puts the priceless family ring on his finger, dresses him in his finest robe, and prepares a fabulous feast with the fatted calf.

The church has taught this as a story of repentance, which on the surface level it is, but like everything in the Bible, there is a much deeper spiritual truth concealed in these words that the church simply can not see.

This is the story of us, the story of consciousness itself, the story of us waking up within the dream of God.

When we spiritually awaken, and realize who we truly are, we activate the mind of Christ within us. We then make the journey home in consciousness back to our father’s kingdom. We are not judged, but joyfully welcomed. The ring placed on our finger symbolizes our infinite wealth, abundance, prosperity, and though we may have spent some time wasting it, it can never be depleted, it is infinite. We put on the warm, comforting, luxurious robe, symbolizing the change in our nervous system, we go from survival to unlimited abundance. The celebration, the feast, the fatted calf represent our new state of being. We see and experience life as a banquet in our honor, instead of something we must struggle to get through. We stop stressing and worrying about our daily needs because we have realized that all that the Father has is ours, and that we were only dreaming of having a poverty mentality.

We have awakened within the dream of God. We are lucid and back in control.

Take the ring, put on the robe, eat the feast.

Consciousness precedes reality.

In love and light,

-J
