Small Beginnings:
“Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin…” (Zechariah 4:10)
As we discussed in the previous post, many of us have this belief that when our manifestation comes, that it will arrive in some grand and glorious manner with serenading angels and trumpets; however, this is rarely the case. This is especially true when it comes to manifesting material things such as money, cars, houses etc…For some reason we think these things will just simply appear. You wake up one morning and there it is, a brand new BMW sitting your driveway. POOF! It just came out of nowhere!
Manifestations generally travel along the path of least resistance, and a lot of times that means starting small. “The kingdom of Heaven is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest seed of all.” (Mark 4:31) This parable goes on to explain that though the mustard seed is the smallest seed on earth, when it is planted it grows into a large tree, so large that all the birds of the air come and build their nests in its branches. Within that small seed is a giant tree.
Think of your true desires as seeds and your imagination as soil. This brings us to a very deep spiritual truth, every desire contains within itself everything necessary for its complete manifestation and fulfillment.
Things start small, and if we don’t understand this we can easily overlook our own manifestations.
Desires are seeds, imagination is soil, patience is water. Let us not despise the days of small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin. The Oxford dictionary defines “rejoice” as: To feel great joy and delight. Feeling is the secret, remember? Plant your desire in the fertile soil of your magical human imagination, and allow yourself to fill with joy and delight. This is your divine self, the I AM rejoicing that the work has begun.
In love and light,
